]]> Although there are many things that you should do before you buy a single toy for your child, one thing that you must do without fail is to check the recall list published by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. There are hundreds of toys for children, some for babies and toddlers, that are not safe and, in many cases, the companies have voluntarily recalled the products. Most reputable toy stores should have pulled these products that are on the recall list but sometimes they fail to do so. As parents, you cannot rely on the stores complying to the laws. They should but it is not worth risking your child because of their oversight or mistake. So, before you buy a toy, check the list yourself to make sure that the toy is absolutely safe, to the best of your knowledge at the very least, for your child.
